Your Guide
My name is Jenn Brown, and there is little I enjoy more than diving deep into the creative process with others.
Why? Because I’m curious and inquisitive, and I love tapping the wisdom and enthusiasm of people who are passionate, knowledgeable, and engaged.
I started my career in 2000 as an editor for Kitchen Gardener and Fine Gardening magazines. The ethos of those publications was to take time to talk to the enthusiastic experts—amateurs and professionals—who were experienced in a particular topic (even if that topic was how to grow a good carrot!).
I quickly realized that everyone has interesting ideas that have been shaped and influenced by their experiences, and my job was to discern the best way to share that information with those who wanted to learn to do something new or better.
I’ve carried this approach into all of my subsequent writing and editing work.
People who spend a lot of time thinking about things and working in a particular field have insights the rest of us don’t. I help crystalize those insights and assist in conveying them to the rest
