Giovanni Zarrella (* 4 March 1978 in Hechingen) is a German-Italian musician and television presenter. He became known in 2001 as the singer of the band Bro'Sis.
Youth
Giovanni Zarrella saw the light of day on 4 March 1978, as the first child of Clementina and Bruno Zarrella, in Hechingen. Just like his sister Maria and brother Stefano, Zarrella grew up bilingual. He took piano and organ lessons at a young age and singing lessons at the age of 15. Zarrella was also active in sports as a passionate football player. He made it to the B-youth team of AS Rome when his family lived in Italy for a year. At the age of 16, he founded his first band Brotherhood. After graduating from high school, he did an apprenticeship as an IT systems clerk. After that, Zarrella moved to the sales department of Hugo Boss.

Yolande Cornelia "Nikki" Giovanni Jr.[1][2] (June 7, 1943 – December 9, 2024) was an American poet, writer, commentator, activist and educator. One of the world's best-known African-American poets,[2] her work includes poetry anthologies, poetry recordings, and nonfiction essays, and covers topics ranging from race and social issues to children's literature. She won numerous awards, including the Langston Hughes Medal and the NAACP Image Award. She was nominated for a 2004 Grammy Award for her poetry album, The Nikki Giovanni Poetry Collection. Additionally, she was named as one of Oprah Winfrey's 25 "Living Legends".[2] Giovanni was a member of The Wintergreen Women Writers Collective.[3]
