Teri is a Northern California native, has lived in Houston, Texas, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Santa Barbara, San Diego, and now resides in Los Angeles, California. She is a certified personal trainer and sucker for black coffee and early morning weight lifting. Teri is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Professor Romulo Barral.

She studied to be an actress in the BFA theater program at UC Santa Barbara and the MFA theater program at UC San Diego.

Teri recurs as Marlena in Ssn 2 of Netflix's The Punisher, as Dorothy in ABC's Once Upon a Time, was series regular Dr. Hallie Casey opposite Jesse Spencer in the NBC's Chicago Fire, and starred as KJ Jameson in Hulu's first original scripted show Battleground. Actress Teri Reeves was most commonly known for her roles in television dramas. Early on in her acting career, Reeves spent time on a variety of series with roles in "NCIS" (2003-), "Grey's Anatomy" (ABC, 2004-) and "Medium" (2004-2011). She also appeared in "Rules of Engagement" (CBS, 2006-2013). She continued to work steadily in television dramas throughout the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing on "NCIS: Los Angeles" (CBS, 2009-), "The Forgotten" (ABC, 2009-2010) and "Three Rivers" (CBS, 2009-2010). She also appeared in "Undercovers" (NBC, 2010-11). More recently, she tackled roles on "Scandal" (ABC, 2011-) and "Chicago Fire" (NBC, 2012-).
