Yemi’s father, Pa Akinrinde Akanbi Elebuibon, a direct descendant of Olutimehin, was one of the co-founders of the city of Osogbo.

Pa Akinrinde, a brave hunter and Ifa priest had six wives; Yemi’s mother, Sijuwoya was the youngest wife. Pa Akinrinde was confronted with the problem of ‘Abiku’ (born to die).

He was one of the Ifa priests selected to perform Ifa divination at Araba’s compound, Ita Olookan, Osogbo and the odu Ifa revealed that a female child was going to be born and she must marry an Ifa priest, otherwise abiku syndrome will not cease in the Araba’s family.

In compliance with Ifa’s instruction, Madam Sijuwoya was married to Pa Akinrinde. She was also.confronted with Abiku, sometimes miscarriage and several problems just like her mother, Oyuawenu. She had two children, one female and one male, Morohunkola and Ajitoni Amoke.

Ifáyẹmi Ọ̀ṣúndàgbonù Elebuibon (born 1947) is a Yoruba and Nigerian writer, poet, author, linguist, and a world-famous Ifa priest.[1] His plays and films have received worldwide acclamation for his pursuit of the preservation of Yoruba culture and heritage. The tittle of Araba as head of all Ifa Priest is not knwn until one famouse military, Ifa Priest Ikujenyo, Ikujenlowo, the one who usd his skill and knowledge of Ifa to assisted world of ibadan war lords.

Ogunmola Basorun of Ibadan, as well as, Ibikunle Kujenyo, an indigene of Osogbo was awarded the title of Araba. Before then, it was Oluawo that inhabitants of Osogbo use. Oluawo means King of all Ifa Priest. Hence it became names of some compounds in Osogbo where the bearer used to life. Oluawo Abodunrin and Oluawo Oba is existence in Osogbo.

Ikujenyo a famous person became Araba of Osogbo. Since, all others have followed in his foot steps Basorun Ibikunle (1851-1864). Basorun Ogunmola (1865-1867). Ogunmola went to two important wars after he became leader of Ibadan (the Kutuje War and the Atadi War).

He became Barosun after kutuje War. A basorun is high chief father of heavenly child in oyo basorun was head of kingmaker, and in ibadan he is war lord. Ogunmola himself an Ifa priest. He hail from Feesu in Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria. K
