Biography of Maya Green
Maya Green is an artist who achieves the effect of matching of intensive colors. Expression of emotional feelings of reality is well balanced in her art.
Being an artist is not an occupation for her, but rather a state of mind. Upon being questioned about why she is doing what she is doing, and
what she wants to say with her art, Maya Green answers, "I'm an artist because it's my nature and, in a certain way, my instinct; I can't live the other way. When people see my paintings I'd like them to be happier and kinder." Indeed, Maya's paintings express emotions with a broad and rich texture. Her expressive language of colors won't leave anyone indifferent.
The usage of an interesting technique in combination with bright colors singles Maya out from other artists. Maya Green uses a palette knife because it allows her to apply pure color, delicate lines and, perhaps most importantly, to express energy that no brush is able to capture.

Maya Eventov’s Biography is updated regularly, please check back to this page for updates. Maya Evento was born in 1964 in Leningrad, now known as St. Petersburg, under the former Soviet Union. At a very young age, her parents introduced her to the great artistic treasures of the city. She spent countless hours at the magnificent Hermitage Museum studying the works of the great masters. The works of the Post-impressionists and those of the Russian Avant-Garde especially fascinated Maya. The palette of Matisse, Gauguin and Renoir affected her interpretation of color, while Rodchenko, Lissitzki and Malevich influenced her sense of balance and composition.
After excelling in art as a child Maya was accepted at the prestigious High School #109 affiliated with the St. Petersburg State Academy of Industrial and Applied Art. Maya Dunietz (Hebrew: מאיה דוניץ; April 16, 1981 in Tel Aviv), is an Israeli musician and artist, combining a solo career with collaborations with renowned musicians: Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou, Roscoe Mitchell, John Tilbury, Habiluim, and many others. Her works are exhibited in venues such as Centre Pompidou Paris, Athens Onassis Center, Frac Paca, CCA Tel Aviv and Bemis Center for Contemporary Art.
Musical education and early career
Dunietz began to study piano at the age of 5 with Jenina Lobenberg. She also studied flute with Moshe Epstein, theory, and solfege with Lev Kogan. At age 10 she took composition with Keren Rosenbaum, who introduced her to a new world of experimentation with sound and ignited an ongoing creative collaboration with Rosenbaum and her Reflex Ensemble.
