“I’m always amazed at John’s ability to get the true stories out of these music legends, the ones they rarely tell. With this book, we get to find out how he gets behind their walls to show us the real people. There are lots of music biographies out there, but when I want the facts, I get them from John’s books.” – Bob Mersereau, CBC
“John was the instigator of the Magic Carpet Ride biography. That book greatly benefited from John’s deep knowledge of Rock Music History and I was quite pleased with his writing and the end result.” – John Kay, Steppenwolf
